New ICHCA Quick Guide Addresses Dangerous Goods Training Requirements Across Transport Modes

Following the publication of its Quick Guide to Dangerous Goods Transport by Air, Rail, Road and Sea, ICHCA International has released a companion guide focusing on dangerous goods training requirements.
Training is a fundamental component of dangerous goods safety. Regulations consistently recognise that personnel must be appropriately trained for the functions they perform, whether those activities involve classification, packing, documentation, handling, transport or management oversight.
However, as with the regulations themselves, training provisions can be dispersed across multiple frameworks and transport modes.
The new guide provides a practical overview of where dangerous goods training requirements can be found within the principal regulations governing air, rail, road and sea transport.
Used alongside ICHCA’s transport guide, it forms part of a growing series of awareness resources designed to help industry navigate complex requirements and support competence across the supply chain.
